Armed force official Major (Retd.) Sinha said. Seven police officers captured in the Rashed Khan murder case have been suspended. They were supposedly terminated on Friday.
The seven fired police officers are Teknaf Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pradeep Kumar Das, Sinha's shot dead Inspector Liakat Ali, Constable Safanur Karim, Sub-Inspector Nandadulal Rakshit, Constable Kamal Hossain, Abdullah Al Mamun and Assistant Sub-Inspector.
Sohail Rana, Assistant Inspector General of Police at the police base camp, told Prothom Alo that the seven police officers were suspended today.
Sinha Rashed's senior sister Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous documented a case last Wednesday naming the seven police officers. The seven denounced gave up in Cox's Bazar court on Thursday. The court at that point requested them to be sent to prison. Afterward, RAB is questioning three people (Pradeep Kumar Das, Liaquat Ali, Safanur Karim) on seven-day remand on the solicitation of RAB, the examining office in the homicide instance of Sharmin Ferdous.
